    Birdies Bar & Grill is a great place with some nice drink specials! I have only been for drinks so I can't speak on behalf of the food there. However, the drinks are delicious. I got an amaretto sour and it was not too sweet. It was the perfect blend of sweet and sour!

    The bartender was great! Drinks were perfect!! The food was also really good. I got the grinder and my husband got the meat lovers pizza. The grinder was very good! He really liked the pizza. The only issue we had was, at some point while the cook was making my food, a man who I assume to be the manager or owner came in. I watched as he went over to my basket of fries, put his hand in it and took some of my fries. I don't mind sharing. But it was pretty gross to watch a strange man put his ungloved hand in my food. It was pretty chill inside. The outdoor seating is great!

    And I see a filter has killed my review. What does a retired Elite have to do to get a review out of Yelp detention?

    I mean, was it not enough spending $410 on a meatball sandwich so that I could check-in to Birdies, peruse the menu,  sneak some free popcorn,  meet Jody, and enjoy the LAX to FWA roundtrip hokey-pokey and even write the review whilst in the vicinity of Birdies to get my review to post???

    Hard to believe that after 500 reviews, this is the one that got squashed unless there's a group of persons flagging any review posted here. Then again, they have a moderator for that.

    This is a great little neighborhood bar smack dab in the middle of a great apartment community and 18 hole golf course.
    They have great food and drink specials- Taco Tuesday. Coney's on Thursday. Etc.
    Riverbend pizza and beers on tap rotated weekly.
    The bartenders are friendly and fun. Check it out I think you find this little gem a hole in one.

    Make sure to go when Jodie is working. Awesome bartender. Only reason I continue to go back.
